Agile Robots is a high-tech company headquartered in Munich with research and production sites worldwide. Founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the start-up has grown steadily. After just three years, the company is the first German unicorn in robotics and today employs thousands of people from more than 30 nations.

Agile Robots was founded in 2018 with the goal of becoming a global leader in robotics and AI. The structure and design of the brand must be able to support rapid growth – both economically and geographically. “Agile” is not just part of the brand name. In the strategic process, “agile” was defined as the company’s meta-value. With this in mind, we took on the challenge of transforming “agility” into a unique brand mark.
idea
We have created a trademark that translates the dynamics communicated in the company name. We combined the harmonious movement of the curved line, symbolic of “agility”, with the static, striking foot from the “Robots” R. The sign is thus a combination of movement and stasis. Both are essential attributes that play a major role in the research and development of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Just two years later, the brand was registered at the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). We based the brand’s global claim and high-quality appearance on an agile, dynamic and reduced communication concept. The overarching “Blue in Blue” Design-concept runs through the entire brand presence and is presented consistently across all communication channels. From business cards to exhibition stands, from icons to the entire UI design system and social media channels, we worked with Agile Robots to ensure a consistently high-quality, but never aloof, appearance.
